At 6th Norton Cubs, we believe in fun, friendship, and adventure! Our Cubs section is open to children aged 8 to 10½ years and offers a fantastic opportunity to grow in confidence, learn new skills, and become part of a supportive, energetic team.
What We Do
Cubs at 6th Norton take part in a wide range of exciting activities designed to challenge and inspire. From fire-lighting and hiking, to arts, crafts and community projects, thereās always something happening! We also enjoy regular outdoor adventures like camping, scavenger hunts, and games that build teamwork and resilience.
Our programme encourages Cubs to:
- Develop independence and responsibility
- Work towards badges that recognise their effort and progress
- Try new experiences in a safe, inclusive environment
- Build friendships that can last a lifetime
New members are always welcome. We maintain a warm and supportive atmosphere where each child is valued.
Uniform & What to Expect
Cubs wear a smart Dark green sweatshirt and neckerchief (or scarf) that proudly show theyāre part of something bigger. Uniforms can be purchased locally or through the Scout Shop. Weāll guide you on whatās needed once your child joins.
No experience or prior knowledge is needed, just enthusiasm and a sense of adventure!
